Lisa explains that Rockwell Automation's general counsel, Doug Hagerman, had lofty goals to bring all their law firms up, day one, and they did it! They were able to transition smoothly from another product and didn't lose a single month of billing. They use Bridgeway's reporting solutions for all their financial reporting and use this data to help make strategic decisions. As Lisa states, "I just finished a stack of reports for our last fiscal year, it was our first complete fiscal year with Bridgeway, and it was impressive." They were able to perform a comprehensive legal spend review of their top ten law firm's metrics, which allowed them to have a frank discussion with each firm on their performance and Rockwell Automation's expectations. As Lisa states "all of this has caused us to save quite a bit of money, this last fiscal year over the prior fiscal year was a 21% reduction." They have been able to use Bridgeway's e-Billing solution to do creative alternative fee arrangements with their outside counsel. Rockwell Automation is now planning how they can use Bridgeway's solution to achieve their goals for next year and as Lisa states "the system allows us to have some control over that."
