HOUSTON, November 1, 2011 – Bridgeway Software, the most recommended provider of legal enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, today announced record turn-out at its recently completed annual customer conference held on October 6th. The Company met with its user base to share success stories, best practices, and discuss the overall business impact of its legal enterprise management offerings. Technology is a critical component in today’s corporate legal departments and Bridgeway’s conference, titled CustomerConnect™ LIVE!, further demonstrates their ongoing commitment to helping organizations focus on the business impact of technology adoption.
In Gartner’s recent July 26 report, Hype Cycle for Legal and Regulatory Information Governance, 2011, Debra Logan, VP and Distinguished Analyst stated, “Though point solutions for document management, e-billing, and collaboration persist, enterprise matter management is evolving toward becoming similar to enterprise resource planning systems. The days of trying to manage legal department core processes with word processors, emails, spreadsheets and slide software are ending. Ad-hoc interpersonal relationships and ‘good enough’ information will be replaced with integrated frameworks, templates, and workflows that are subject and domain focused."
Now in its in 16th year, Bridgeway established the conference so users could share personal accounts of how its technology solutions have positively affected clients’ bottom-lines. Customers discussed various applications of the Company’s enhanced Legal Enterprise Management suite of solutions, and how they are being used to manage and access all matter-related information/documents, automate key tasks and processes, track important milestones, allocate resources, collaborate with outside counsel, and better control spend.
"Once again, Bridgeway's client conference has provided me with an opportunity to interact with some of the most accomplished legal department personnel in North America,” commented Dan Williams, Principal Counsel at T-Mobile. “I’ve been able to take away best practices and the latest technology enhancements that I can apply in my own department."
As a part of this year’s conference, Bridgeway also announced its “Customer of the Year Awards” which highlights some of the most significant use cases of its technology. The following individuals received this honor for 2011:
“CustomerConnect™ LIVE! enables us to do more than just engage with our user community, it allows us to truly listen to the ‘voice’ of our customers,” said Keith Okano, President, of Bridgeway. “By creating an open exchange of information, ideas and experiences, we establish a unique environment that enables our customers to not only learn from industry best practices but also play a key role in the future impact of our product road map.”
