SEC Postpones the Implementation Date of its New Web Site

April 22, 2003 − The SEC announced today that it has postponed the implementation date of its new web site and filing process for electronically submitting forms 3, 4 and 5 - see http://www.sec.gov/info/edgar/ednews/rel85delay.htm.

Due to this announcement and in expectations of forthcoming changes in technical requirements from the SEC, Bridgeway Software will similarly postpone the release of Insider 5.5.

Users of Insider 5.5 will be able to create and maintain their filings within the program, then transmit them electronically to the new SEC system with a few clicks of the mouse. However, instead of transmitting a text-based file, the program will generate an XML "web" file that is compatible with the SEC's new system.

All Insider clients should upgrade to this new release as soon as possible after the SEC switches over to the new system. Due to the changes in filing format Insider versions 5.4 or earlier will no longer be able to file electronically after the SEC change.

Bridgeway will post the Insider Upgrade on the Support section of our web site at www.bridge-way.com. Additionally, we will notify all users by email as soon as the update is available.

Bridgeway Announces XML Electronic Filing With Insider 5.5

New Release Complies with the SEC's New Filing Format

HOUSTON - April 4, 2003 - Bridgeway Software, Inc., the leading provider of automated corporate legal solutions, announced today that version 5.5 of its popular Insider application will comply with the changes in electronic filing requirements for Section 16 forms as announced by the SEC in March. According to the SEC announcement, as of April 25, 2003, all electronic filings of form 3, 4 and 5s must be submitted to the SEC's new web site, http://www.sec.gov/info/edgar/ednews/ownerfilesite.htm.

As before, users of Insider will be able to create and maintain their filings within the program, then transmit them electronically to the new SEC system with a few clicks of the mouse. However, instead of transmitting a text-based file, the program will generate an XML "web" file that is compatible with the SEC's new system. The release of Insider 5.5 will coincide with the SEC's "go live" date for the new web site. Current Insider customers will be notified of the availability of the new release via e-mail as soon as it is available for downloading.

"We went to work immediately to make the changes necessary for Insider to comply with the SEC's new filing requirements," said Pat O'Donnell, president of Bridgeway Software. "Our clients can feel comfortable that we are monitoring for changes with the SEC and able to respond quickly to keep our software in compliance."

Insider 5.5 will also comply with the SEC's July deadline for posting forms electronically on the company's web site. The XML file generated by Insider can be combined with a web-based style sheet, obtained from the SEC, to create HTML postings which the customer can then post to their company web site in compliance with the SEC requirements.
